To me, nothing says spring like fresh cut flowers. Even the tiniest vase with a single flower is an instant mood brightener. For this project, I bought inexpensive flowers to create several arrangements and had enough left over to use the odds and ends to create the floral frame above. Inside the frame I added an inspirational quote that Kari shared with me. I'm going to print it out and hang it above my craft table.
Over the past few years, I’ve made several storage bins and posted about them. I love to get organized and making little storage bins is a great way to keep clutter at a minimum. I made an E-waste bin to hold dead batteries and other E-Waster until they can be properly disposed of. A pretty blue string box holds craft supplies that I’m currently using. Gift cards are stored in a small paper covered file box and my first roadside rescue displays Washi Tape and craft paint.
I’ve mentioned this before, but it’s very hard for me to throw away scraps of paper. I wouldn’t exactly classify it as hoarding but it could become a problem if I don’t use up the bits and pieces. This bowl wasn’t made out of paper scraps but paper catalogs. When I attended CHA in January, I came home with a lot of catalogs. The paper catalogs have pages and pages of pictures of pretty paper. How could I throw those away?
It’s time to cheer up! Put away the snow globes, pinecones and winter décor and lighten and brighten with spring crafts and accents.

I love pompoms! There is something so irresistible about the soft fluffy perfectly trimmed ball of yarn. The pompoms in this book titled Adventures in Pompom Land by Myko Diann Bocek are beyond a cute ball of yarn. They are little works of pompom art.
What would Easter or spring décor be without some fun eggs? I try to do something different every year and this year I went back to basics with good old fashioned dyed eggs.
