Be My Guest: Live Laugh Rowe

Happy Friday everyone. I’m still away and will have features from this week’s creative party up next week. In the meantime, I’m leaving you in good hands with my friend Kelly, from Live Laugh Rowe

Hi homework readers! I'm Kelly. If you aren't familiar with who I am, I'm the author of the creative lifestyle blog, Live Laugh Rowe, where I share crafts, recipes, life's moments and more. If you like to party, I host a weekly linky party where you can show off your mad talents! Now let's move on to the fun...I {love} wreaths! This is one of my favorites too. Inspired by a pin on Pinterest, I went ahead and put my spin on it and was super excited with the end result.

Alrighty, let's grab some supplies. One 18" Grapevine Wreath, three bags of Floral or Spanish Moss (purchased at the Dollar Store), Glue Gun, Spray Adhesive, Frame and Ribbon.

I started by hot gluing the first layer of the floral moss to the grapevine wreath. Every so often I would lift the wreath and shake off any access. I'll admit that I had intended to hot glue the entire wreath, but decided to add the second layer with spray adhesive. It covered more area and kept some of the smaller (messier) pieces in place much better.

This might be a good time to mention that, as you can see, this can be a very messy project {smile}. After a few more shakes (outdoors), you're ready to accessorize. With the addition of an organic bloom frame and a bow with some wired ribbon ---Voila!Here I'll share the picture that inspired me side by side with my wreath. I think the next time I'll give it a try with spanish moss, it might be a little less messy {hee-hee}. What do you think? I was extremely pleased.
