The Inspiration Board: creative party spotlight ~105~

Happy Friday everyone! Here we are in June! How did that happen? My son is out for summer – yay! My mornings will be a little more leisurely for awhile. And for a few months, I’m going to enjoy: no brown bag lunches, no rushing out the door in my slippers with my coffee mug to run him to school and no yelling “did you do your homework?” – yes sirree, three cheers for summer.

Happy in Red shared this adorable crochet elephant. Pretty colors and a fun flower make her all the more cuddly.


A great idea for a birthday party theme. I Gotta Create showcases a Wild West Party with tons of ideas and inspiration. I love the fringed brown paper on the treat bags and popcorn bag.


French Vanilla Dream Bars by Live Laugh Rowe look mouth watering good. I love any type of bar dessert and this spin using coconut and French vanilla sounds amazing.


As the summer heats up these Coconut Kiwi Popsicles would be the perfect cool down treat. Will Cook for Smiles shares the recipe with us.


My Turn for Us shows us one of the easiest and cutest ideas to make garden markers. Inexpensive knives and Sharpie pens. And hello Mr. Gnome peeking out behind the Oregano.


Peaches and Bees has whipped up the most fanciful Belle dress for her princess to wear on a Disney cruise. Can you imagine meeting the Disney princesses dressed up in this beautiful gown?


Allons-Y Kimberly created a fun diy painted planter. A little paint and a steady hand and you have a one-of-a-kind planter.


How amazing does this plate of berries and other fruit look. Claire Justine used it to make a morning boost smoothie. What a great way to start the day.


And speaking of berries, this Blackberry Cobbler by Julie is Coco and Cocoa looks so good. Blackberries, sugar and homemade pie crust – oh man!


I just realized this is the third berry feature in a row. I didn’t plan it this way, they just all looked so good. Yesterday on Tuesday made Iced Blueberry Doughnuts. I assume adding blueberries to a doughnut makes it a healthy treat – don’t you agree?


And speaking of treats, we can’t forget our four-legged friends. This lucky guy gets a homemade Sweet Potato Dog Chew made by Todd&Lindsey. Good boy!
