Three cheers for summer! Here in Southern California, people wear flip flops year round. Not me – my feet get cold in the winter but once the weather warms up, I break out the flip flops and don’t look back until the winter rolls around again.

I grabbed a new pair of flip flops the other day. You can never have too many pairs especially when they’re only a few dollars. I loved the stripes on these but they needed a little bling.

I found this pretty trim in my stash and this pretty sheet of rhinestones.

I glued the trim along the outer edge of the straps and the cut a single row of the rhinestones to use along the inner edge.

Another larger rhinestone finishes off the fun bling look.

Ah summer! It’s so good to see you again!

The beach, backyard barbeques and blinged out flip flops! What could be better.

I’m all packed and ready for a day at the beach! Who’s with me?
Thanks for visiting.

Very cute ! Living along the coast of Myrtle Beach, SC....we are a flip flop all year around too...we get some cold weather, but we wear those flops every chance we can...set aside those high heels around here! LOL.. Bling on the flops is popular here too! Looks great , enjoy wearing them!

ReplyDeleteI love "flip flops" - but I can't wear them in winter - too cold. I can't wait for September. Enjoy your new pretty summer wear.
