CELEBRATIONS: bridal shower decor on a budget

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Cottonelle, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #CottonelleTarget http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.

Believe me, I’ve done my share of planning and hosting bridal showers. They seem to come in waves and can be expensive to host. Here’s a creative bridal shower décor idea that’s also friendly on the budget.

Bridal Shower Decor with bathroom tissue flowers via homework | carolynshomework.comI gathered up some pretty vintage tea cups, pitchers and other serving pieces and scattered them along my table. The flowers are made with… drumroll please… bathroom tissue.

The flowers are made by rolling up lengths of the toilet paper and crimping them at the bottom. All I did was staple the bottom together. Super easy since I knew I’d be nestling them in bowls and no one would see the bottoms.

Add some finishing touches like rhinestone stick pins, feathers or pieces of vintage jewelry.

You could also hang the flowers as a garland or make a practice bouquet out of them. Or, make all of these things because there’s plenty of tissue on a triple roll!
