INKLING: Lifestyle Crafts Wood Labels {& A Giveaway}

Lifestyle Crafts Wood Labels via homework | www.carolynshomework.comDie Cut, Letterpress, Emboss… oh my! I’m super excited to share this with you. I’m on the Lifestyle Crafts Home and Organization Studio Design Team. I have a giant love of paper and paper crafting and have been wanting to challenge myself by making more detailed and intricate paper projects.

I’ll be slowly learning how to use the Lifestyle Crafts tools and I can’t wait to share all my projects with you. I hope you’ll enjoy learning how to die cut, letterpress and emboss with me. Look for projects specific to Lifestyle Crafts and We R Memory Keepers once or twice a month.

I also have a fun giveaway to celebrate this new venture. Details are at the bottom of the post.

Lifestyle Crafts Wood Labels via homework | www.carolynshomework.comBut first, I’ll share my very first Lifestyle Craft project. It’s a very simple project but I want to make sure I’m using the tools correctly and I couldn’t resist using this beautiful wood veneer paper by Arc Crafts. It’s real wood veneer but you can cut it, score it and fold it just like regular paper.

Lifestyle Crafts Wood Labels via homework | www.carolynshomework.comI made some simple labels to help organize some of my desk supplies. You can never have too many organization containers to help contain the bits and pieces you use on a daily basis.

 To die cut these labels I used the Lifestyle Crafts Evolution System.

Lifestyle Crafts Wood Labels via homework | www.carolynshomework.comIt would be simple to run your paper through your printer before die cutting the labels to print the words you want. Since I was using wood veneer, I die cut the labels first and then used rub off words to add some inspirational words to my jars.

Eventually, I’m going to be learning how to emboss and can’t wait to share projects like these beautiful embossed cards that Lifestyle Crafts created.
Lifestyle Crafts Wood Labels via homework | www.carolynshomework.comI’m really pleased with my very first die cut project and really excited to dig in and share more with you. Follow along and learn with me how to make the most of these tools and create some really fun projects.
