As always, thank you so much for visiting here at homework this week. I so appreciate your comments, shares and link ups. In case you didn’t get a chance to stop by, here’s what I shared.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone. I hope you enjoy these wonderful projects featured in the spotlight this week.
…..
One of the techniques that I haven’t tried is heat embossing. I love these Gold Embossed Moleskin Notebooks by A Girl in Paradise. I definitely want to give this a whirl. How fun to have a family movie night and serve up some popcorn in this edible white chocolate popcorn bowl by Hungry Happenings. It’s brilliant and I can just imagine everyone digging in and breaking off pieces of the bowl to eat.
I loved this adorable Striped Baby Cardigan by Little Red Window so much that I’m sharing it even though I’m sweltering as I sit here and type. (We’re having a freaky heat wave in Southern California). Anyway, even though I’m hot this would keep a little one nice an warm on a chilly evening. Darling!
Grow Creative painted this gorgeous large canvas of California Flowers. Being a California girl myself, I love the fresh springtime feel of this painting.
Paper Seedlings shares this beautiful framed artwork created using layered paper hearts and other embellishments. The colors are right up my alley.
Really good fresh mozzarella cheese a world apart from the type you buy in from the regular cheese section in the market. I can only imagine how good homemade mozzarella cheese would be. Home Made Interest shares her first attempt at cheese making and offers some tips.
Another technique I would love to try one day is working with alcohol ink. Jewelry Making Journal shares two tutorials using alcohol ink on metal.
Did I mention it was hot here? Our old house isn’t air conditioned since we live so close to the coast so this Summer Chicken Salad Sandwich by All She Cooks looks like the perfect meal for me right now.
Nifty Thrifty Things wows with this White Chocolate Cheesecake covered in beautiful fresh berries. The cheesecake and beautiful table setting are so inviting. I’d love to sit down with her and share a piece in this beautiful setting – except for the fact that we’re on different continents.
Seriously adorable tennis shoe refashion by Thimbles Bobbin Paper and Ink. As she said, they are “just to cha-cha for words”.
Darling matching fabric dresses by PA Country Crafts. Each dress is unique – check out the photos on her post of all five of her daughters, including the baby, modeling their dresses.
