Carrot & Banana Homemade Dog Biscuits | Make Your Mark Book Review | Canvas Prints on Burlap | Mother’s Day Cake Flags
Thank you so much to all of you who stopped by this week. I loved all your comments and sweet words. To those of you who shared a project on The Inspiration Board all I can say is WOW, this week was amazing! It’s so fun to go through the links every week and I can’t thank you enough for sharing your talent here.
And now for the projects in the Spotlight this week:
Check out these gorgeous drop earrings by Magna Artistic Photos. The gold is hand crocheted and the beautiful natural stones are stunning.
And speaking of stunning, Twigg Studios knocks it out of the park again with this Fit For a Queen Victoria Sponge Cake. The cake, the filling, the raspberries and those beautiful real candied rose petals – sensational.
The Life of Jennifer Dawn shares these darling Flannel Stuffed Elephants. What kid or adult (like me) wouldn’t love a little elephant created out of soft flannel. They are all so cute but my favorite is the alphabet guy.
I love projects like this. Over the Apple Tree used magazine pages to create this Matryoshka Plaque. What an inspirational piece. I’m definitely going to try to make something like this.
Oh boy… this could be dangerous. Cream Cheese Sugar Cookie Bars by The Casual Craftlete makes it easier than ever to enjoy a frosted sugar cookie. One large pan, bake, frost, cut into bars and enjoy.
The perfect desk for her six year old little girl. This Little Red Riding Desk got a makeover with red paint, whimsical knobs and some pretty hand painted trim by Reposhture.
Sweet Bee Buzzings made a delightful Crocheted Flower Wreath to welcome spring. The bright colors and different flowers really show off her crochet skills.
A great MacKenzie Childs Enamel Board knock off by Joyful Daisy. It’s hard to believe this started as a humble baking pan. The fabric choice is beautiful and the attention to detail in recreating the trim is so well done.
With the weather warming up and seeing peaches being used in recipes has me dreaming of summer. BoBetsy shares this recipe using canned peaches but as you know, once peaches are in season the harvest is usually bountiful. Make it with canned peaches now and save the recipe for fresh peaches this summer.
A Little of This, A Little of That takes us on a tour of her little boy super hero bedroom. There are so many wonderful elements to the room. I loved the map wall and little reading nook. Absolutely wonderful.
A fantastic Crate Coffee Table by Anything and Everything. Four crates from Michaels become a pretty and functional coffee table storage piece. I love it!
Inspirational Story
Born Again Farm Girl shares Happiness, Heartache and Hope a story of her beloved baby ducklings, Fred & Ginger who grew into an inseparable pair. A wonderful story about life and hopefully, the circle of life.
