These burlap canvases are very popular right now. You can get them at your local craft store and they come in a variety of sizes. I got mine at Michaels and have been trying to figure out how I wanted to use them.

The burlap canvases were sitting in my “on deck” craft pile when I received these pretty hand painted fabric prints from
Wholeport. I thought combining the two would look nice in my kitchen.

I cut the fabric prints to fit onto the burlap canvas and then fringed the edges. I used a small amount of fabric glue in each corner to adhere them to the canvas. However, if you sew and have iron on fusing it would give the project a nice finished look. I also glued on a small scrapbook brad in each corner.

And here they all are. I’m planning on hanging them in my kitchen – I just haven’t had a chance to do that yet. You know how it is…
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the creative world.
I receive complimentary products from Wholeport but all opinions are mine. Really!

ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty. They are so subtle with the colors, but no where near plain. I love them!
