INKLING: National Scrapbook Day Blog Hop & Giveaway

Uh oh… guess what day it is? It’s National Scrapbook Day. Did you know? I didn’t either but luckily I’m part of the Lifestyle Crafts Studio Design Team and they keep me up to date on all these things. Once I found out, I couldn’t wait to celebrate and what better way then participating in a blog hop.

Since Mother’s Day is around the corner, I thought I’d make some fun Mother’s Day Cake flags.

I used the Lifestyle Crafts Lollipop Alphabet Dies to make these letters that spell out Mom.

A half of a barbeque bamboo skewer and some twine and flower embellishments will make any cake, cupcake or treat extra special for your Mother’s Day celebration.


I have to confess, I didn’t make these little lemon bites. But I’ll use the flags on some real homemade treats for Mother’s Day because I’ll be celebrating with my mom and I’ll want to make something special.

Yay for moms! We work hard and deserve a special day.
