Hello friends! Last week I shared some super refreshing pomegranate lemonade ice cubes and today in part 2 of my pomegranate series I’ve made some Pomegranate Mini Ice Cubes.

You can see my Pomegranate Lemonade Ice post
here and my no mess tips on how to easily seed a pomegranate.

Making these pomegranate mini cubes is as easy as it gets. But the payoff is huge. Have them on hand to add to your favorite beverage like this cranberry white peach juice.

These ice cubes are tiny and they melt fast.

I have a mini ice cube tray. The little cubes barely fit one seed each. Just fill the tray about half way with water and plop in your seeds. Freeze, pop out and store them in a freezer container. It’s like an instant frozen vitamin.

I think these would be great for serving cold appetizers at a buffet. Imagine a tray of these with little cocktail shrimp on top. Pretty!

The burst of deep, deep red seeds are so amazing.

Even better, just add them to plain water. As the ice melts the water turns slightly pink and is so refreshing.

I’m slightly obsessed with pomegranates lately. In fact, I have more pomegranate ideas to share with you in the coming weeks.

Refreshing!
Thank you so much for stopping by.
P.S.

ReplyDeleteWhere do you find pomegranates this time of year? I have a pomegranate tree (bush) and it is just now blooming.
ReplyDeleteNo pomegranates until Halloween time.
Hi Judianne, I'm in Southern California so I think it's our season right now. They have them at my grocery store. But maybe they ship them from somewhere else. I was just happy to see them in the produce section. :)
DeleteOk I really want one of these little ice cube trays now! These are so cute and I'd definitely drink more water if it looked and tasted like this!
