Welcome friends new and old! We did it. We made it through another week of crafty fun. I’m getting ready to head out of town next week but I have loads of fun things lined up for you while I’m away. How about you? Have you been busier than ever or are you on summer slow-down pace? Either way, I hope you’re having a great summer so far. if you didn’t have a chance to swing by this week, here’s what I shared.
And now for the projects in the spotlight this week.

How gorgeous is this orange crocheted scarf by
Elisabeth Andree. It’s delicate yet enough to keep you warm. And the colors are just wonderful.

I’ve seen this wooden bowls countless times at discount stores and thrift shops. I can’t wait to get my hands on some and transform them like
Anderson & Grant did. Hello chippy wonderful new bowls!
PA Country Crafts sewed this darling dress with coordinating bonnet and shoes for her littlest one (she has six). So sweet.

I have some torn vintage table clothes and I love this idea to make a lampshade from
Shabby Gals. The ribbon trim finishes the shade so nicely.

I miss the days of summer fun and sidewalk chalk with my big guy.
Little House Living shows us how to make your own sidewalk chalk paint. Super fun and just hose it down when you’re done.

Doesn’t this sound deeelish! Frozen chocolate mocha cheesecake by
The DIY Dreamer. Another new recipe to file and make soon.

Oh my goodness. Look at all those beautiful roses.
Penny’s Vintage Home shares with us a variety of ways she dries roses from her garden.
Sum of their Stories covered a plain box with bits of scrap pieces of paper. What a fun patchwork gift box and definitely made with love.
Our Secondhand House used wooden spoons painted in bright colors to mark her vegetable garden. What a wonderful pop of color and how fun when the color coordinating pumpkins start growing.

A baby shower by
Life and Home at 2102. Even though she is expecting herself, Vel hosted a shower for her friend. I’m super excited for sweet Vel. She has two older boys and she’s expecting a little girl. Yippee!
