TGIF friends! Are you on summer vacation? Or should I say, are your kids on summer vacation? Yes, it’s that wonderful time of year when the kids are done with school. No more brown bag lunches to make, nagging about homework, carpool duties and dozens of calendars and schedules hanging on the refrigerator. High fives and fist bumps!
Thank you to all of you who stopped by this week to visit, comment or share projects. I appreciate each and every one of you! If you didn’t have a chance to drop in, here’s what I shared.
And now for the projects featured in the Spotlight this week.

This is seriously one of the most amazing cakes I’ve ever seen. The tie-dye is so fun and festive and the number five surprise inside the cake is absolutely wonderful. Rainbow Tie Dye Surprise Cake by
Hungry Happenings.
Homespun with Love brings us this fun Father’s Day Stach-tionery Gift. The black and white theme and mustaches are super cute.

Perfect Chocolate Cupcakes by
Annie’s Noms. The definitely look perfect to me and I can’t wait to taste them since I’ll be making some of these in the very near future.
Sweet Bee Buzzing shares this loopy loo crochet pillow. I love the bright colors and the equally bright buttons just make it perfect.

Speaking of bright, these popsicles by
Moments with Mandi are delightful. Who could resist a Sprite and Gummy Bear Popsicle? Make a batch of these and you will be the most popular mom on the block.
City of Collective Dreams put together a top and a dress she never wore to create a pretty new dress. Seriously, imagine the outfits we’d have if we revamped some of our clothes. Adding “revamp” clothes to my list for when I’m an empty-nester – which is soon.
BoBetsy brings us this perfect-for-summer Carrot Cake with Ginger Mascarpone Frosting. I love carrot cake but I can’t remember the last time I had a piece of homemade carrot cake. Oh my goodness, I can just taste it now.
Plump Perfect and Me used soda bottles to create this fabulous flower ring. This is a technique I haven’t tried yet but I can’t wait to start melting some soda bottle.
Persia Lou has taken the pom pom out of the normal box and created a picture holder with this bright fluffy pom pom. Such a fun splash of color. How fabulous would a grouping of these be.

Fries… enough said, right?
Keeping It Simple Sweetie tempts us with Baked Rosemary Garlic Fries. Wow do those look good!
If you were in the spotlight, please feel free to grab a button.
