HOMEWORK - READING: Martha Stewart Living

Hello friends! I’m always excited to share beautiful inspiration from Martha Steward Living. The June issue is brimming with beautiful summer ideas, décor and creativity.

From burgers, grilling and fresh Italian food, this issue is tasty!

Besides all the wonderful food inspiration, there’s plenty of craft and home décor ideas – like these fun wrapped key rings. So simple and striking.


How about these clever book drawers for storing little items. I’m always amazed – such a simple idea and so wonderful.


One of the stories that really caught my eye were these ideas to cover a plastic planter pot. I love container gardening. I have several pots on my patio and buying new, beautiful large pots can be expensive. This idea to wrap a “not so pretty” plastic pot in moss or bamboo is brilliant.


This type of bamboo or reed is sold in home supply stores. It’s used for privacy or around gardens. Just measure your pot and cut the bamboo so that it will cover the plastic pot.

I can’t wait to do this. I have some large plastic pots that I can now use once I get them all wrapped up!
