I’m in love with the alphabet dies. There are several different alphabet styles to choose from. I’m using the Lollipop dies.
Start by choosing some fun and colorful paper. Run the paper through the Evolution machine using the alphabet die. I used several different patterns of paper so that each letter would be in a different color and pattern. You can use the Quick Stik tool to easily pick up the letters you want to use. This tool has a ballpoint pen-like tip but is sticky so you can pick up little bits and pieces.
Once you’ve chosen your letters, set them aside and save all the other unused letters for another project.
Tape a straight line on your pot so you can apply your letters evenly.
Use a small paint brush to apply glue or Mod Podge to the back side of your letters. Adhere them to your pot.
Once all your letters on on the pot go over each letter with a Mod Podge of another type of sealant so that they are sealed onto the pot. Set aside to dry thoroughly.
This year I planted basil seeds and had a bumper crop of seedlings until my dog got to them. Two or three seedlings survived and I carefully transplanted one of the seedlings from this large pot into my new bright and cheerful basil pot.
I have them up on a small table now out of reach of the bad dog!
Hopefully, I’ll soon have beautiful vine ripened tomatoes and fresh basil. Yum!
Thank you so much for visiting!
