Every season I change up the décor on my kitchen hutch. I usually introduce a seasonal element or color depending on my mood. Sadly, this summer is getting away from me. Any grand plans for a fresh look with shells, starfish or other summer décor is slowly slipping away.

But sometimes even a tiny change can change the mood of an area.

I bought these faux eucalyptus stems from Michaels. Did you know you can shop online at Michaels now? It’s rocking my world I tell you.

I took down the remnants of spring. I mean I’m embarrassed to say but there were still some eggs up on those shelves. And plopped those eucalyptus stems into some white vases. I instantly felt better. It just felt fresh.

And even though they are faux stems, they dropped a little leaf just like real ones.
