Every season I change up the décor on my kitchen hutch. I usually introduce a seasonal element or color depending on my mood. Sadly, this summer is getting away from me. Any grand plans for a fresh look with shells, starfish or other summer décor is slowly slipping away.
But sometimes even a tiny change can change the mood of an area.
I took down the remnants of spring. I mean I’m embarrassed to say but there were still some eggs up on those shelves. And plopped those eucalyptus stems into some white vases. I instantly felt better. It just felt fresh.
I love the fresh leaf green color against all the white dishes. I used a white beach glass vase and a lace bottle vase that I made long ago. It’s a bottle covered in a piece of curtain. Fun! You can see that post here.
And even though they are faux stems, they dropped a little leaf just like real ones.
