Hello everyone! Happy Friday! Woot. Do you have big plans for the weekend? I’m still in college-kid move in mode, so I’ll be running around all weekend picking up more dorm necessities. I want to thank everyone who visited this week and especially to all of you who shared projects on The Inspiration Board. I love looking through all the links and it definitely takes my mind off my soon-to-be empty nest. If you didn’t get a chance to pop over, there what I shared this week.

And now for the projects in the Spotlight this week.

This just made me gasp!
Something Creative Everyday made this Succulent Garden out of recycled materials and paper. It is a work of art! Wow!

Ooooh – I love shiny things!
Sum of their Stories crafted some pretty dishes and blinged them with gold and glitter.
The Heathered Nest impresses again with this Train Themed Boy’s room. My favorite features… the enormous vintage train wall art, the antique blanket and herringbone rug. The list could go on and on. I pretty much love this room.

This gorgeous workspace would certainly inspire me. The desk started as a plain wood desk but
Being Bianca used layers of gold spray paint and nail heads to give it an updated look.

Another amazing furniture transformation by
Reposhture. This aging vinyl chair gets a completely new looks with spray paint. Now it looks like it came straight out of a high-end store!

A simple recipe makes the world of difference.
I Gotta Create shares this Simple Syrup recipe. My mom used to make simple syrup so we could have fresh lemonade and it makes all the difference in the world.
Glamorous Affordable Life completely transformed the look of this lamp with paint and a new shade. I love the blue color on the base and the up-light shade.

This shows you what a little (or a lot) of elbow grease can accomplish. A completely cleaned up and sparkling vintage range by
Leaving the Ivory Tower. I love the fold down top that doubles as counter space when you’re not cooking.

I love trying new things and this Fiesta Fettuccine by
Love Food will Share sounds like a great combination of some of my favorites. Corn, bacon, cheese – oh yes!

Here’s another fun new dish to try.
Keep it Simple Sweetie blends prosciutto and peaches on a homemade pizza. Reminiscent of Hawaiian pizza but without the pineapple.
If you were in the spotlight, please feel free to grab a button.
Thank you again to everyone who linked a project and to everyone who came to visit. I loved looking at all the projects and visiting your sites.
