The Inspiration Board: Spotlight 166 & S’mores & More Inspiration

It’s Friday everyone! As happy as I am that it’s Friday, I have to say this impending college move-in day is looming ever closer. We move our one and only kid in exactly one week. As emotional as it is, I have to admit, ideas of redecorating his room are swirling in my head. I’ll keep you posted once the room makeover begins. In the meantime, the pile of dorm room necessities grows ever larger and so does my anxiety. In between checking items off the dorm room list, I shared a few things here this week.

I love unique pincushions and this is the first Cactus Pincushion I’ve ever seen. The colors are fantastic and it’s beautifully constructed by The Sewing Lab.


Leap Frog and Lip Gloss shared a Southwestern Pork Tostada recipe that looks so good and perfect for these warm summer evenings.


Ampersands are so popular and I love this DIY Gold Ampersand by Hawthorne and Main. The amazing part – it’s made out of Styrofoam.


Annie’s Noms does it again. This summer berry tart looks amazing and I would LOVE a piece of it right now!


I never knew you could preserve lemons and these Preserved Lemons by Eliza Ellis are not only practical but so pretty. I’ll have to remember this one as a great gift idea!


Lemon and Thistle shares a slow cooker chicken taco recipe and then tempts us with a giant platter of mini tacos.


Love this crocheted beach beach bag by Julie is Coco and Cocoa. The hat, the bag… it reminds me I definitely need a beach day.


One More Time Events has created my dream piece of furniture. I mean, we all need our own personal coffee station! What fun to brew your cup of coffee, choose your flavoring, stir and enjoy!


Modern Hues shares a unique side table made from a basket. What a clever way to repurpose a basket and it fits perfectly in between those chairs.
