The Inspiration Board: Spotlight 169 & Girly Girl Inspiration

TGIF friends! I know it’s back to school time and everyone is thinking fall décor but wow, it’s hot where I live. I’m trying to think fall leaves and acorns but my mind is still in the sea blue and beach glass place. How about you? Are you excited for fall? As soon as it cools off a little, I’m right there with you. In the meantime, as we transition into fall, I’m sure everyone is busy with all the things that are happening this time of year – so if you didn’t get a chance to stop by this week, here’s a glimpse of what I shared.

There’s nothing quite like a fresh chocolate chip cookie and cold glass of milk. These Milk Chocolate Chip cookies by The DIY Dreamer remind me of my favorite childhood afternoon snack.

702 Park Project shares her Mud Room makeover. What a fantastic transformation and that built in custom cubby is perfect.

A Pink Lemonade First Birthday Party by PA Country Crafts complete with the cutest little ruffled romper. Just adorable.

The tomato harvest just keeps on giving so I’m always on the lookout for new tomato recipes. This Butter Bean and Tomato Salad by Simple Girl at Home looks so fresh and yummy.


An incredible Rag Rug project by The Farm House in the Field. Who doesn’t have an assortment of old clothing items that could be put to good use in the form of a rug. Beautiful!


Even though I’ve been talking about the end of summer heat, this Pumpkin Spice Latte with Pumpkin Spice Marshmallows by A Simple Pantry is the perfect segue into fall.


My Breezy Room brings us just that – a breezy bedroom with a cool color palette that is so serene. I love the pretty door headboard and side table.
