Friends, the September issue of
Martha Stewart Living is out and of course, it’s filled with timely inspiration. I loved this story on a Better (For You) Bake Sale. Jennifer Aaronson, Editorial Director of Food & Entertaining at
Martha Stewart Living, brings us ideas for the "Better Bake Sale" which focuses on swapping in some better-for-you flours, oils, and food colorings. Favorite cookies, cakes, bars, and breads get healthful makeovers.
These Graham Flour and Jam Pastry Squares caught my eye and I’m thrilled to be able to share the recipe with you straight off the pages of the magazine.

Snickerdoodles Bites made with whole wheat flour never looked cuter than in these notebook paper bags.

And this time of year is not only for baking and bake sales but dinners for busy school nights. The issue also has several One Pot dinner ideas that look amazing!

And don’t forget the brown bags! You can grab these darling printable lunch bag labels and more at the
Martha Stewart website.
