The Inspiration Board: Creative Party 163 & a rag rug pillow

This is a long post, so scroll down to get to the The Inspiration Board Creative Party...

Hello everyone! I’m back. It’s been a whirlwind past month but I think I’ll be able to stay put for awhile. During all the travel which was mainly for my son’s volleyball team and his new college, I was offered a full time position with the company that I consult for. Did you know that I worked part time as a marketing consultant? I’ve steadily increased my working hours all while trying to keep up here on homework.

I accepted the full time job, because, uh, can we talk college tuition for the kid?. I’m blessed to be able to continue to work from my home office and will continue to blog. I’m going to try to not stress if I don’t have a post up or I can’t finish a project in time. This is going to be hard because for some reason, I think the world is going to stop spinning if I don’t have a post up every day. Hang in there with me friends, this is going to be a wild ride!

Some of you sent well wishes to me and my son when we traveled to Houston for the USA Volleyball Boy’s Junior National Championships and requested photos. So here are a few photos from our trip.

Now enough babbling about me. Time for you to share your wonderful creativity.

Here are a few guidelines:
  • Link up your own project - something you created, made, did or something that inspires creativity.
  • Grab a “homework” button and include it somewhere on your blog.
  • Please visit the other links that intrigue you and make someone smile with a comment or two.
  • I'd love for you to follow me in some way.
  • By linking your project, you are granting me permission to feature your project here on homework, via social media or on my other blog DETAILS.
  • If you have a giveaway, I have a separate giveaway link party - see the Giveaway Link Party tab at the top of the page.
I’m ready to be inspired - don’t forget to add my button somewhere on your blog. Spreading the word helps bring more visitors to your linked project.

  4. Carolyn, congrats on your full time position - how awesome for you. And, what fun to travel with your son with his team and then college on the horizon. My granddaughter asked me to help her decorate her dorm room - not for this fall but, next fall... I am not ready. We will be here when you can so - one day at a time and enjoy all your new ventures. Thanks for hosting.. Cathy

  8. Exciting times ahead! I would completely forget the idea of daily posts if you are working full time, I honestly can't see how you could do that and remain sane. You have a great archive of amazing ideas and projects people aren't going to stop visiting just because you ease up a bit!
