homework: reading {paper blooms}

Paper Flower Jar Lids – from my archives

I’ve made several paper flower projects here on homework. I love working with the different paper colors and textures and turning them into fun embellishments or using them for décor.

Today I’m sharing with you the book Paper Blooms, by the accomplished paper artist Jeffery Rudell. Jeffery Rudell’s works has been featured at Tiffany & Co, The New York Botanical Garden and in publications such as Elle Décor, Bride and Good Housekeeping.

The book is filled beautiful paper flower projects with step-by-step and photos.

The projects can be used on for many occasions. These delicate little flowers are perfect for these place cards.

This project is so unique. Cattails made out of a scallop paper punch and brown paper. Genius!

Beautiful gift wrapping ideas.

These poppies are so delicate – just like real ones.

The quote on this page of the book says “white refers to a hundred different colors”. How true is that and this beautiful “white” paper flower arrangement represents just a handful of white colors.
If you enjoy creating paper flowers or working with paper, you’ll love Paper Blooms by Jeffery Rudell.

I can’t wait to try out some of the projects in Paper Blooms. In the meantime, here are a few paper flower projects that I’ve shared in the past few years.

Happy paper crafting and thanks for visiting.
