The Inspiration Board: creative party spotlight ~106~

Happy Friday {TGIF}! I hope you all had a wonderful week and are going to have an even better weekend.

Thank you ~ thank you to all of you who stopped by this week and big thank you to those who shared their creativity on The Inspiration Board. All the projects were so wonderful and I love seeing some new names on the board and of course, those who come by week after week to link up are near and dear to me.

Blog Sleep Number PillowIn case you didn’t have a chance to stop by this week, here’s what I shared.

Now, on to the projects in the spotlight this week:

mbr from door text2Lilikoi Joy reveals her newly decorated master bedroom. The soft splash of color is so soothing and are we all dying over that rug?

keybag17.6-779x1024A forget-me-not bag hanging on the door is such a great idea. Windsor and Main quilted this pretty bag and throws in those important little items – keys, sunglasses etc.

ombrestandI love this pretty ombre effect by At Penny Lane. It creates the illusion of a six drawer chest when in fact there are only two drawers for shoe storage.

102_8677Hello breakfast! Savings 4Six whipped up an overnight blueberry French toast dish that looks so gooey good.

Side-view-1024x893I am loving this Berry Basket Calendar by Endlessly Inspired. Each date has space to write down fun life events. How fun to look back through those cards and read those fun milestones.

DIYRomanBlindswithGrommetDetailWould you believe the grommet detail on these diy roman blinds were a solution to a mistake? Just the Bees Knees cut her fabric too short (yup, I’ve done that so many times). The solution was to add the panel with the grommets which is the perfect finishing touch.

P1030486_SnapseedBeautiful clay tags by Must Have Wear. I love the clean unembellished look of the white clay . Simple stamped messages create a less-is-more finished product.

IMG_0408 (800x702)Creating my Way to Success has sewn some darling Komebukuro Bags (bags to carry rice). You can use these for anything – not just rice - and they’re just darling.

Features 106-001When I first saw these two photos linked up, I assumed they were from the same person. To my surprise, they from different sources. I love the idea of painting or drawing on smooth rocks and both of these are done so well. Left: One Perfect Day creates beautiful floral patterns on these beautiful sea rocks. Right: My Art is My Soul uses river rocks as a surface for her nature paintings. Beautiful!

untitled-5826A beautiful chair makeover by Reposhture. The original sad little chair is sitting pretty with new shiny new paint and new upholstery.
