Where did the week go? I can’t believe it’s already time to say TGIF and I mean T.G.I.F! How was your week? Did it fly by as well? I hope you had time to stop by this week and visit me. If you didn’t here’s a little recap of what I shared.
If you did stop by this week, thank you so much. I truly appreciate every visit, comment and link. The projects were amazing as usual. Here are few in the spotlight this week.

Craft blocks turned into beautiful inspiration objects by
Kraft Mint. Feathers are “in” right now and I have a love for feathery things. These plain wooden blocks painted and embellished with feathers are so striking!

Another trend that I love is mercury glass.
Glamorous Affordable Life diyed this mercury glass light fixture using inexpensive candle holders and it looks straight out of a high end lighting store. Ingenious!

Sometimes the simplest projects just make me smile. These paper boxes by
Fishes Make Wishes are so sweet especially with a child’s painting and drawing touch.
Cherished Bliss is thrilled with the results of her wooden arrow art and I don’t blame her. Her clean simple design makes such a statement against the light wall color in her nursery.

Holy bat cave!
Grow Creative put her own spin on this bat invasion with colorful paper that makes these bats look much more festive as opposed to frightful!

Having a Halloween gathering? I think these Spider Web Chocolate Martinis shared by
Oh My! Creative would be the perfect touch for a spooktacular party!

An amazing fireplace mantel transformation by
Painted Vintage. The original brick fireplace had a very narrow brick ledge. A beautiful wooden box made from lumber gives this fireplace a whole new look.

Red Velvet Roulade Cake Roll. Just saying it sounds amazing.
Twigg Studios tortures and tempts us with another fantastic confection.

I’ve never tried Posole before but it sure looks good.
Penny’s Treasures shares the recipe and I think this is going on my fall / winter recipes to try list.

The possibilities are endless with gold leaf.
Homey Oh My turned a plain white bowl into a treasure using gold leaf. I’m pretty much in love with it.
