
I still have hundreds of acorn caps leftover from last year. I especially love the ones with the little baby acorns still attached.

They remind me of little hats so I blinged out some of them with a touch of glitter. Just paint on a little craft glue and sprinkle with glitter. So easy and fun.

I’m planning on using them throughout fall and winter.

Before using acorns or acorn caps, you want to bake them to get rid of any critters that may be hitching a ride on them. Spread them on an old cookie sheet and bake at 250 degrees for one hour. Even after I baked them I washed them again in warm soapy water.

I could add them to the tops of bottles that are being used as gifts.

Or, display them in a bow on the table.

I think I may use some of them to top off these
pom pom snowman ornaments that I made. Wouldn’t they look cute as little snowman caps?
