CELEBRATIONS: Dressed Up Acorn Caps

I still have hundreds of acorn caps leftover from last year. I especially love the ones with the little baby acorns still attached.

Glitter Acorn Caps via homework | carolynshomework.comBefore using acorns or acorn caps, you want to bake them to get rid of any critters that may be hitching a ride on them. Spread them on an old cookie sheet and bake at 250 degrees for one hour. Even after I baked them I washed them again in warm soapy water.

Pom Pom Snowman Ornament via homework | carolynshomework.comI think I may use some of them to top off these pom pom snowman ornaments that I made. Wouldn’t they look cute as little snowman caps?
