Here's what I'm sharing for the parade. Transforming cheap pumpkins has become standard on blogs and craft websites. I love coming up with new ideas and ways to pretty up those funky looking fake pumpkins you can pick up at dollar stores and discount stores.
This year I went white and copper. I don’t do much orange for Halloween and I thought copper would be a good substitute.
Here are the pumpkins I found this year. They were at my local dollar store and had nice shapes and grooves on them. I also liked the interesting stems.
I got to work turning these orange pumpkins white. I used a mixture of craft paint to come up with a white that wasn’t to white or too yellow.
The ridges have a light touch of Jazz glitter paint in Copper that I also let pool by the stem and run down the grooves.
