Happy Friday friends! We crafted, baked, diyed, decored, baked and sewed through another week. It’s that crazy end-of-school-year time of year when kids go bonkers, parents are exhausted and there are still a million things to do. I’m especially grateful to all of you for visiting here at homework because I know everyone is super busy. If your schedule got the best of you, and you didn’t have a chance to stop by this week, here’s what I shared.
Enjoy the weekend everyone and enjoy these projects in the spotlight this week.
I Think We Could Be Friends updated a their fireplace surround with palette wood. The new fireplace looks beautiful with the cushy leather furniture.

A great repurpose project by
Cherished Bliss. A candle holder to succulent planter. What a fresh take on a candle holder that you’re not using anymore.

Adorable laundry play set by
Little Red Window. It reminds me of paper dolls but with a fun, fresh look. I love the little laundry basket that holds all the clothes.

I’ve been trying to cut back and lose a few pounds so these Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles by
Dixie Chik Cooks look even more tempting to me. Yum!
House of Bennetts share a beautiful Coffee Table Tray and I couldn’t resist picking this picture to feature. How adorable is the big guy in the background.

If you sew this is a great tutorial to bookmark.
So Sew Easy shows us how to create a lettuce edge hem. I’ve always loved these ruffled or lettuce-edged hems. It gives a piece of clothing such a cute and finished look.

Another great project for kids from
Kids Activities Blog. Easy dyed art using coffee paper filters, pens and water. A great summer craft project for kids.
The Happy Creations shares these budget-friendly wedding centerpieces that she’s making for her friend’s wedding. Wedding season is upon us and I always enjoy seeing what everyone is creating for that special day.
Pieced Pastimes shares her husbands amazing Board Track Racer replica. Created with salvaged vintage junk, this full size replica is simply amazing.

Thank you again to everyone who linked a project and to everyone who came to visit.
I loved looking at all the projects and visiting your sites.
