The Inspiration Board: Spotlight 160 & Unique Ideas Inspiration

Hello friends. I’ve been in and out and now I’m on my way to Houston, Texas for my son’s big volleyball junior nationals. I’ll be back soon and have more great guest bloggers lined up to share their amazing projects with you. A huge thank you to all of you who visited, shared their projects on The Inspiration Board and giant hugs to my guest bloggers this past week.

If you didn’t get a chance to stop by, here’s what my guest bloggers shared.

And now for the projects in the Spotlight this week.

sunrisequilt3I love quilts and this Sunrise Quilt from the Sewing Lab is magnificent. The fabric is stunning and looks vintage but has such a fresh feel. Perfection!

Tropical-Fruit-Boats-266x400How fun is this tropical fruit boat by Sweet Silly Sara. What a great way to serve up a healthy portion of fruit and I bet even the pickiest eaters would enjoy this fruit plate.

DSC_1356(2)Over the Apple Tree shares a recipe for Almond German Chocolate Cupcakes with Pistachio Whipped Frosting. The best part is the recipe starts with a boxed cake mix. I love easy go-to recipes and these look delicious.

doily purse 12What a great way to repurpose a doily! Etcetorize had different plans for this giant doily but ended up making this cute purse which is perfect for summer.

Wedding-Reception-Seating-ChartThis Wedding Reception Seating Chart by Yesterday on Tuesday combines all things wonderful. Pallet wood, burlap, lace, arrows and a touch of gold all combined to make the cutest seating chart.

Watermelon-Mint Tea (Main)Is it hot in here or is it me? Ha ha!  Watermelon Mint Ice Tea by Fluster Buster will keep us all cool in these summer months. That looks seriously refreshing!

DSC_0606[1]Sew Much to Give created this beautiful Window Seat Cushion and I can imagine the amount of work that went into it. To put it in perspective, she needed to sew 20 yards of piping. I say it was worth the effort and looks amazing.

DSC_1068French Pemberley shares a trip to a button shop in Montmartre called Dam Boutons. The entire store is shelves and shelves of these buttons in tubes. Can you imagine? What a treat to stroll through this shop via her post.

IMG_6054-1024x682It’s that red, white and blue time of year and this Fruit Salad by Keep it Simple Sweetie looks amazing. Fresh berries and mozzarella cheese tossed in a balsamic vinegar dressing. Perfect for the fourth or any summer occasion.

RWBFUDGE2What better way to end your patriotic celebration than with some red, white & blue fudge from Sugar Swings. The added bonus is that the colors come from fruit not artificial dyes. Mmmmm fudge.
