Pasta is a popular dinner choice in our house and the pasta boxes are perfect for crafting since they have a built in windows.
There are lots of things you can make with these boxes. I thought birdhouses would be fun.
Here’s how you can make these birdhouses.
- Open up the bottom and top of the box.
- Lay the box flat and cut off part of the bottom and top of the box. Keep these pieces to make the roof.
- Cut out the “A” frame part of the roof and secure to the sides of the house with tape.
- Cut out the roof and secure with tape.
- Cover your box with paper.
- Add birds to the inside so they’re peeking through the window
This project can also be modified for a child’s craft. Use whole sheets of paper instead of shingles or paint the box with craft paint.
Pasta box birdhouses – a great excuse to eat more pasta.
