Happy Friday everyone! Are you still eating hard boiled eggs and ham leftovers? Well, we made it through another holiday and we’re off and running with all kinds of spring inspiration. Thank you to everyone who stopped by this week – whether you popped in for a quick visit, linked up a project or left a comment, I truly appreciate each and every one of you.
In case you didn’t get a chance to stop by, here’s what I shared this week.
And here are the projects in the spotlight this week.

The restoration of this frame by
Reposhture is nothing short of amazing. Yes, the paint is beautiful… but the incredible part is that large sections of the wood filigree were missing. She made a mold from the intact filigree, recreated the filigree, repaired the missing sections and then finished it off with the beautiful paint. Stunning!

Maybe it’s because it’s spring or maybe because I’ve been completely overeating on Easter leftovers but I’m craving all kinds of fruit. This Strawberry Salsa with Cinnamon Sugar Chips by
Shaken Together Life would be perfect to satisfy a sweet and fruity craving.

Aren’t these shoes beautiful! Would you believe they are crafted from paper? Breathtaking paper shoe art from
Sandy’s Space leaves me speechless!

Easter is over but I had to share these Panoramic Sugar Easter Eggs by
Artsy Vava. I had a panoramic egg when I was small. I think my mom saved it and brought it our for decoration every year. I never thought to make one but this is going on my list for next year!

Such a pretty butterfly card by
Atop Serenity Hill. The butterflies are made by painting a sheet of watercolor paper and punching them out. This gives each one such a unique look. So pretty!
Urban Sky threw a pretty “Kate Spade” inspired bachelorette party filled with pretty pops of pink and bits of gold. Lots of pretty party décor ideas but for some reason she didn’t post any of the actual party pictures – I guess what happens at the bachelorette party, stays at the bachelorette party.

I love this sweet idea from
Etcetorize. She made these for an Easter gift but they would work for any occasion. Regular crayons wrapped in pretty paper and a customized crayon box. Fun for party favors, classmate handouts, stocking stuffers and more.

How happy is this little table by
Restoration Redoux? Hot pink and black and white polka dots combined to just make you smile and brighten your day.

Such a pretty deer silhouette by
Just Another Hangup. Beautiful fabric stretched over canvas makes a unique backdrop for this majestic deer.

Move over paint chip samples,
Second Chance to Dream has found something even better – Formica samples. The little formica sample tags are just begging to be used as some type of craft. These were turned into chalkboard tags but imagine the possibilities.

ReplyDeleteThe 3D effect of those butterfly cutouts is so charming...can see party/wedding decorating possibilities with them! And those paper-wrapped crayons are too cute to actually use...but I agree they'd make darling favors!
