The Inspiration Board: spotlight {99}

Happy Friday everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful week filled with creativity. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, commented or linked up a project this week. I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

Blog Country Crock1In case you didn’t get a chance to stop by, here’s what I shared this week. {left} Mother’s Day Gift Box with Crepe Paper Flowers {middle} Spring Patio  {right} Acorn Squash & Wild Rice Casserole

Have a wonderful the weekend – I hope to see you back here next week. In the meantime, enjoy these projects in the spotlight this week.

SL276955Beautiful packaging by One Perfect Day. There’s nothing like ordering a handmade gift unless of course it comes in a beautiful handmade gift box.

SAM_8562Twigg Studios has the jump on summer with homemade ice cream cones. Actually ice cream cones are a year-round treat in my opinion and these look divine. I bet they’re light and crispy and perfectly sweet.

diy_wall_stencil_9Pretty in pin damask wall stencil by Cocalores. What a great nook for storage in her home office. And having a splash of pink to look at every day would certainly make me so happy.

milk jug votives - square - poolFantastic upcycle project from Bliss Bloom Blog. Pretty floral votives made from… wait for it… milk jugs. Super crafty to recognize that the plastic milk jugs resemble vellum.

framed out triple shotOne of my favorite craft supplies – the humble tin can. Fox Hollow Cottage has turned those humble little cans into charming vintage containers and then dressed them up with vintage shoe clips.

Features 99-001
There were two darling miniature knitting projects linked up by two different sources. Left: A Fairy Knitting Basket by A Geek in Glasses. Tiny little balls of yarn and needles just waiting for a fairy to stop by. Right: A little knitting brooch by Spoonful of Crafts. This sweet brooch shows a few row completed and the needles poised to finish off that row. A love tiny things and what a coincidence to have both these projects shared this week.

DIY-Shabby-Chic-Fabric-ShoelacesI’m never buying shoelaces again. How cute are these Shabby Chic Shoe Laces from Cupcakes and Crinoline. A great way to use up strips of fabric. Now I just need some cute pink tennis shoes.

fun_boys_bedroom[5]What a fun boy’s room makeover by Just the Bee’s Knees. Great details like the red ceiling, the pendant lamp and giant chalkboard.

Untitled-19 copyAbsolutely lovely. This Lemon Drop Cake with Langues de Chat cookies surrounding it is breathtaking. The roses, the sweet garland and the beautiful table all add to a stunning display. Bravo Curiosita Ellya.

DSC_0154Blueberry Lemon Bundt Cake by Doodle La. Moist and sweet with touch of tartness from the lemon glaze - you can almost taste the berries. A delicious looking cake and a beautiful presentation.
