Kraft sent me a bottle of the product to review, but they haven’t reviewed or approved what I wrote below. All opinions are mine. Enjoy!

Do I have a treat for you today. I made the most delicious sandwich the other day with the complimentary bottle of Kraft Zesty Italian Anything Dressing I received. When I was chosen to review this product, I wanted to create something outside of my normal cooking box. Something that I wouldn’t usually cook at home but I would order at a restaurant. I came up with a grilled asparagus sandwich that was out of this world good.

Start with fresh asparagus. I chose thinner spears to make the sandwich easier to eat. I don’t believe the thickness of the spear affects the tenderness but I prefer a sandwich that isn’t sky-high.

Wash the asparagus and some Italian parsley.

Drizzle the Kraft Zesty Italian Anything Dressing over the asparagus and bake for 5-8 minutes at 400 degrees.

While your asparagus is cooking, grill up some sliced onions.

And while your at it, make some bacon.

When your asparagus is done, start assembling the sandwich. I chose a Telera roll but any type will do. So here’s what’s on my sandwich: Provolone cheese, grilled asparagus, grilled onions, bacon bits and Italian parsley.

Seriously – so good! I didn’t add any other condiments to the sandwich. The Kraft Zesty Italian Anything Dressing added all the additional flavor needed to zest up the ingredients.
