You know that sweet craving you get? Not the “oh-my-gosh” I have to have a giant piece of cake craving. That little sweet craving you get but you can’t figure out what to have? I’ve found my answer. Actually, this has been my answer for a long time.

When I used to actually leave the house to work in an office, I used to keep a bag of
Werther’s Original candies in my desk drawer. They were the perfect pick-me-up. So when
Werther’s asked me to try their sugar free candies I was excited but a little skeptical. I’m not a sugar-free girl and how could the sugar-free version possibly compare to the original candy.

I was honestly surprised. They taste just like the original version. Mmmm – that melt in your mouth caramel yumminess. Just like my old office desk drawer days! I even received this cute candy container that I’ll keep on my home office desk. The best part is these sugar free candies only have 8 calories and 3g of carbs. It’s the little things that can make a difference. Cutting back here and there. Now I can have my sweet fix with zero guilt.

Fortunately for me, I have a choice. I can eat sugar if I choose or I can choose a healthier sugar free option. For some people with health problems, avoiding sugar is not an option. And I can imagine how hard it must be to make that lifestyle change. Sometimes you just want a sweet treat that tastes really good.
Werther’s used their 100-year-old caramel making tradition using real butter and fresh cream to create their sugar free versions. And there are four yummy flavors – Classic Caramel, Caramel Apple, Caramel Coffee and Caramel Cinnamon.
I have a few friends with diabetes and I’m going to share my
Werther’s Sugar Free candy with them. I packaged up some of the candy in these mason jars and I know they’ll enjoy them. Sharing is a good thing – but I’ll still hide my secret stash in my desk drawer.
