If you follow along on this blog, you know I lean toward simple, neutral décor. The spice labels that I created for myself were very simple black & white labels that can be printed out on standard sticky label sheets or cardstock. No fancy shapes – just easy to cut rectangles.
And since I know that not everyone is as plain vanilla as myself, I created a second sheet in some pretty colors just for you. You can check out yesterday’s post on how I use shipping tape to adhere my labels. Not only is it crystal clear but you can wipe it clean.
The black & white set will go with any décor. If you want to add a bit of color, use some pretty baker’s twine on the jar.
Or, choose the colored set. I created them using soft, muted colors that would look great in any kitchen. I also left several labels blank so you can customize your spices.

I love your DIY spice jars and labels! I started growing and drying my own herbs last year and I can definitely use these!! Pinned and shared :)
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic Carolyn! I've been looking for some printable ones for my own spice jars that were pretty but still basic. They are so hard to find (even paying for them) and I needed round ones that fit onto the lid. I ended up making my own and will be posting them next week but these are the type that I was looking for (aside from the fact that they aren't round.) Nice job.
