There’s been a lot of discussion among bloggers about link parties, the value of them, whether to keep hosting them, whether to co-host with several bloggers to form a mega party etc. I’ve been solo-hosting my link party for almost four years now. The number of links goes up and down and I’ve toyed with the idea of joining a group or at least co-hosting with someone else. I don’t want a mega party with over 500 links but I’d like to offer you more visibility for your projects. I’m not sure what to do. If you have an opinion, leave me a comment. For now, I’m leaning toward keeping my party small and just here on homework. As always, I post the features on Friday and leave that as the top post all weekend to hopefully give the features additional traffic.
Well, enough rambling about the link parties. Let’s get to this week’s features but first up, here’s what I shared this week.
Here are this week’s beautiful features in the spotlight.
Keeping up with the Times tempts us with this Lemon Chiffon Cake. The cake is gorgeous and the beautiful photography and styling has me convinced that the cake is lighter than air, therefore zero calories. Right?
Passion Shake created these darling 3D Valentine Cards and I love the sweet simplicity of them. I definitely need some honeycomb hearts in my life.
Woods of Bell Trees takes the Painted Animal Jars up a notch using unique Schleich animals and chalk paint. Beautiful.
I am a carb queen and this Homemade Ciabatta Bread by 3 Peppers Recipes looks amazing.
11 Magnolia Lane adds pops of coral to her living room and it’s gorgeous. Loving that monogram pillow against the black and white pillow.
This handmade birthday card by The Casual Craflete is beautiful. Making and giving handmade cards is not only special but at the cost of cards these days, it’s much friendlier on the wallet.
Pieced Pastimes shares her diy painted stair runner and it’s perfection. Neatly taped lines and several coats of paint gives the stairs a very polished look.
Gorgeous office renovation by Lemon Thistle. This gives me hope for my home office after seeing her before pictures. Wow what a transformation.
Butter and Jam shared several wonderful recipes this week but this Chopped Thai Salad caught my eye. This is my kind of salad! I can’t wait to try out this recipe.
Sugar Swings always delights me and these Snowmen from Mini Wheats are especially delightful. What a fun snowy scene.
If you were in the spotlight, please feel free to grab a button.
Thank you again to everyone who linked a project and to everyone who came to visit. I loved looking at all the projects and visiting your sites.
I have so many tabs open on my computer since the features this week are so great!

ReplyDeleteLove those hearts especially!
Thank you so much for including my hearts in the 'hanging around' collection. There were so many delightful entries by so many talented folks this week. A true feast for the eyes, and so many for the stomach as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm late to the party, literally, and as I've been slowly going through the features, and opening each one in a new tab to see...I was completely surprised to see my patina magnet board! Thank you SO much for including it in the "hanging around" collection! Now I'm off to check out all these opened tabs! Great features this week!
ReplyDeleteThank your for the feature!
