Today I’m sharing some Warm Pear Salsa with you. These pears started as my table décor. I love a bowl of beautiful fruit and pears are definitely one of favorites.

The pears were just shy of being over ripe so I thought I better use them up. There are many ways you can make pear salsa. You can chop of the pears and make a fresh salsa or you can make a warm salsa like I did.

To start chop up your pears.

Add some other interesting ingredients like apples and pineapple.

Add flavor with chopped onions and brown sugar.

Here’s the complete recipe:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine apples, pears, pineapple, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 2 tablespoons brown sugar in a bowl. Stir to coat the ingredients. Pour into a baking pan and cook for 15 minutes or until almost tender.

A super easy warm salsa that would pair nicely with pork, fish or just about anything. I added mine to some grilled shrimp with a side of rice pilaf. Yum!

A delicious combination of sweet fruit and grilled shrimp.

This simple warm pear salsa takes a plain meal to a dressed up meal and adds a ton of flavor.

Delicious!
Thank you so much for stopping by.
