The Inspiration Board: Spotlight 174 & Autumn Scents Inspiration

Happy Friday everyone. My fall celebration was short lived and we’re having another heat wave here in Southern California. Today it was 90. Sigh…  Hopefully, this will be the last blast of heat and we can move on to sweater and soup weather. Who’s with me? And now for the projects in the spotlight this week.

Aren’t these absolutely the most adorable little monsters you’ve ever seen? Sugar Swings created these from sugar wafers and they are wonderful.


I love these pink owls by Purple Hues and Me. The base is a humble jar and with loads of feather, glue and embellishments, these darling owls took shape.


A fantastic fall mantel from Shabby Love Blog. Loads of great details like those beautiful feathers and stark deer head.


I will be trying out this crock pot beef, vegetable and rice soup recipe from Joyful Homemaking as soon as it’s cool here. I can’t wait for the cooler weather and some yummy soup like this.


Anytime you finish a blanket it’s reason to celebrate. Grow Creative is celebrating with this beautiful chevron crocheted blanket. It’s wonderful and she’s sharing the pattern.


Hee hee… Jacolyn Murphy invites friends to a Night Mare Horsing Around Halloween Party complete with pony rides and a pumpkin patch. A very clever and fun invitation.

Paper Seedlings shares these fun burlap treat bags. What a fun way to pass out treats.

Hello pie season or in this case tart season. I Gotta Create shares this delicious looking Perfect Organic Pear Tart. Mmmmmm.

At the Createaerie crafted up a pumpkin from a coir basket liner. I love the texture and sweet embellishments.

How lucky to have this type of scenery in your neck of the woods. This is some serious beautiful fall nature shared by Grandparents Plus.
