I think fall has finally arrived here in Southern California. It’s still about 80 degrees but it’s dropping and the mornings have that fall chill in the air. High fives! I can finally start thinking about fall dishes, décor and outfits. Woot! I’m so excited! I know fall is in the air for a lot of you because there was so much fantastic fall creativity linked up this week. Thank you to everyone who came by this week, left a comment or shared a project. I’m so appreciative. In case you didn’t have a chance to pop in, here’s what I shared this week at here at homework.
And now for the projects in the spotlight this week:

Can’t you just smell the aroma of this orange spice simmer by
Simple Joys of Home? Cinnamon, cloves and oranges would definitely set the fall mood in any home.
Etcetorize shows off her fabulous legs in these Nordic Leggings she made. They are so cute. I’m not sure I could pull off Nordic leggings - well maybe with a really, really long sweater!

A fantastic lunch bag pumpkin by
Vintage, Paint and more. The strips of paper create such a great texture and the book page leaves are the perfect topping.

Gorgeous!
My Girlish Whims has outdone herself with this Anthropologie Knock Off Necklace. Each metal piece is a hammered piece of gold wire. It’s incredible!

I keep thinking she’s going to run out of rooms to show us but
The Heathered Nest keeps unveiling more and more fantastic rooms. This beautiful room is her son’s outdoor adventure room. Amazing denim-painted walls, tent, campfire and faux antler chandelier are just a few of the beautiful details.
Little House Living shares this delicious looking Apple Danish Braid recipe. What a treat to have a slice of this for breakfast. Mmmmm.
The Painted Hinge brings a little shabby chic to her fall décor. This sweet frame wreath has loads of shabby fun elements: chicken wire, burlap, clothespins.

Pumpkin Bread – so moist and tasty!
Simply Suzannes kicks it up a notch with a cocoa streusel topping. Oh yes!

I don’t even want to guess how many calories are in this amazing German Sweet Chocolate Cake by
The Gracious Wife. Look at those layers and all that wonderful frosting. Save me a slice…I’ll be right over.
If you were in the spotlight, please feel free to grab a button.
Thank you again to everyone who linked a project and to everyone who came to visit. I loved looking at all the projects and visiting your sites.

ReplyDeleteYou're so sweet Carolyn! I'm so glad you liked our son's room! It really is my favorite room in the house right now…so, with that, perhaps I am tapped out ;) Hopefully I can still find some things here and there that will appeal to your wonderful design palette here at Homework :) Best, Heather
