GOOD TASTE: Sriracha Kale Chips

I’ve been really into Kale lately. It’s so versatile. You can throw it in soups, pasta, casseroles – just about anything. The leaves cook up really quickly and add a dose of healthy to your meal.

In fact, kale is one of the healthiest vegetables you can eat. Low in calories, high in fiber and one serving provides a day’s worth of vitamin C and more than a day’s worth of vitamin A and K. I’m planning on using it a lot in my current recipes, throwing in a few leaves here and there.

To make these chips, you’ll need:
  • Kale
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 teaspoons Sriracha sauce or any chile sauce
  • Coarse salt
Add your chili sauce to the olive oil and mix well. Tear your kale into small 2-3 inch pieces. Use only the tender leaves and not the stems.

Mix your pieces of Kale in the olive oil mixtures and spread out on a baking pan.

Or I may try another flavor like lemon and salt. Either way, this a great way to use up your greens and still get some healthy vitamins while snacking.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
